The Workforce Development Center at the Edmundite Missions works to empower individuals with essential skills and knowledge for sustainable employment. Join us to gain access to vocational training, career counseling, and job placement assistance.
The Edmundite Missions Center Workforce Development is dedicated to the economic success of individuals and families in Selma, Alabama and surrounding rural communities. The Center is not just dedicated to helping people get jobs, it is dedicated to ensuring that they have the skills and experience to retain that job and move up the ladder of employment success.
To do so, the Center focuses on assisting youth and young adults with developing the personal capacities and skills needed to succeed on the job, as well as building the understanding of, and exposure to, the wide range of job opportunities and career directions that are possible in a variety of industries. With this philosophy of knowledge about opportunities and skills to take advantage of those opportunities, the Center emphasizes not just employment but achievement.
